EVENT PRODUCTION & BRANDING FOR COMPANY OFF-SITE

At extremely short notice, we were called upon to create some merchandise for our very first company off-site event.

However, as we delved deeper into the situation, it became apparent that no one was overseeing the event planning aspect, including the conference logistics and AV requirements. What's more, I discovered that all our creative resources were tied up in 'nice-to-have' projects, with no one taking charge of the big-picture responsibilities.

Fortunately, I brought a unique set of skills to the table. With four years of experience as an events manager and another four years in events production, I was ready to don multiple hats:

Event planning, rehearsals and coaching, stage set design, AV logistics, lighting, walk-on stings, and more.

It was time to step up and ensure our event was a success.

For the main keynote speakers, I produced panoramic animated presentations using the entirety of the 3:1 ratio LED video wall.

For other speakers, I produced a walk-on/opening sting video and a looping video background. For their presentations, I added their slides as a pair of PIPs (picture in picture) over the animated backgrounds, with the option of having a third PIP in the center as a live camera feed.

Between presentations, I produced a default scene that slowly changed as the day went by. Not just the colors that slowly changed. But the GOBO lights and shadows that moved across the screen were created by modeling the hotel's famous atrium's windows.
At the end of each day we ended with the "lets flamingle" video loop.

During the company off-site, one of the team challenges was to create a social video using our smartphones. See the video to the right. Naturally 'Blue Team' won easily
